And I am torn to do what I have to. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years, everyone.  :)   The climate became uncharacteristically warm recently (went from around 0° F to 50° F), so that made this weekend extraordinarily nice.  I spent Christmas with my step mother's family at their farm, which was reasonably enjoyable.  I had my "real" Christmas with my mother, my older brother Damian, my nephews Elijah and Xander, and my mom's boyfriend Tim.  We had a good time exchanging gifts.  I got homemade food and homemade goodies!  Can't ask for more than that.  XD  It was very yummy.  Last night, I went over to my friend Brian's house with

A lot has happened lately, both in my life and on a personal development level, and unfortunately I have little time to share it tonight.  I'll sum up the "big" things: Finally got all my paperwork for the Air Force, provided it to my recruiter, and took the practice ASVAB.  Got a 99th percentile on the practice ASVAB, will take the real one on December 2nd.  Unfortunately I lost my driver's license on Wednesday night... and it's required to get into the test.  Thankfully I managed to get a new one today, though I barely had enough time.  I have the little paper until they can send me the real copy, but the paper will suffice for identificat

Free at last, I sought only to be bound again. So today, work was a bit of a rollercoaster and I'm set on finding a new job ASAP.  Other highlights - REALLY pushing at selling my car so I can move the hell out of here in quick order (that's a two for one). I performed astronomically well at work today.  As it often seems to, that didn't come without a cost, though.  I was moved to a new location and asked to run a pair of robots there.  I was running them one at a time, switching for what was needed at the time, and my boss dropped by and seemed disappointed - which shocked me, because it was the best I'd done, and I'd done better than ever
